Sorted responsibly
Your waste is taken to permitted facilities and sorted for recycling wherever possible.
Not sure which size you need? Here is how our customers in Hyndburn usually use each one. Tell us about your waste and we will recommend a size.

Loft, garage and spare-room clear-outs, or bagged household waste after a tidy up. A 2 or 4 yard skip is usually plenty for lighter loads.

Hedge cuttings, old sheds, fence panels and decking. Garden waste is bulky, so a 6 yard skip often suits larger jobs.

Kitchen and bathroom rip-outs, plaster, timber and general building waste. 2 and 4 yard skips can be filled with soil or hardcore. A maximum of 1 tonne of soil or hardcore is allowed in 6 and 8 yard skips.
Hiring a skip should be simple. Send us your postcode, tell us roughly what is going in and where the skip can stand, and we will confirm the size, the price and a delivery date that works for you.
| Skip size | Price | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| 2 Yard Skip | £150 | Mini skip — approximately 20–30 bin bags |
| 4 Yard Skip | £210 | Midi skip — approximately 30–40 bin bags |
| 6 Yard Skip | £250 | Builder's skip — approximately 50–60 bin bags |
| 8 Yard Skip | £280 | Large builder's skip — approximately 60–80 bin bags |
Bin-bag figures are approximate and depend on the type of waste and how carefully the skip is loaded. If you are between two sizes, describe the job to us and we will advise.
A skip on your own driveway does not usually need a council permit. On other private land, the landowner's permission is needed. We confirm placement and any permissions before booking. If the only space is on the road, a council permit is usually required — tell us when you enquire and we will talk you through it before anything is booked.
Please leave clear access for the lorry, keep the area free of parked cars, and load the skip level with the top so it can be transported safely.
Everyday household, garden, timber and renovation waste is accepted. Electrical goods, mattresses and fridges/freezers are accepted. Prohibited items include asbestos, chemicals, paint, gas bottles and tyres. Plasterboard incurs an extra charge. Please tell us before booking so we can confirm the cost and handling requirements.

Send us your postcode and the size you think you need. We will come back with a clear price and the delivery options we have available.
