Quick Fill or Standard Drop-Off

When you request a quote you can choose how you would like to use the skip.

Quick Fill

A 30 minute option where the driver waits while you load the skip, and the skip is removed immediately once loading is finished. It works well when the waste is already gathered and ready to go.

Standard Drop-Off

The skip is delivered and left with you so you can fill it during the agreed hire period. This suits projects that run over several days.

Hire period

Up to 14 days' hire is included. If you need longer, extra days are £5 per day thereafter. Collection can be requested earlier, subject to availability. Please tell us at the point of booking if you think you will need extra time.

What is included and what we confirm at booking

Included in the price

  • Delivery of the skip to the agreed address
  • Up to 14 days' hire included
  • Collection of the skip and disposal of the waste by a licensed carrier
  • Prices shown are the current total prices

Not included

  • Council road permit: £42 extra where required, if the skip has to stand on the road

Confirmed when you book

  • The delivery date and a suitable time
  • Where the skip will stand, and whether a council permit is needed for a skip on the road
  • The waste going into the skip, so we can check nothing is restricted
  • Whether your postcode is within our current skip hire area

Prices shown on this page apply to our current skip hire service area and are subject to confirmation during booking. A skip on your own driveway does not usually need a council permit, and a skip on other private land needs the landowner's permission. Placement and any permissions needed are confirmed before booking. If the only space is on the road, the council normally requires one (£42 extra), so tell us where the skip needs to go and we will explain what is involved before anything is booked.

Waste that cannot go in a skip

Prohibited items include asbestos, chemicals, paint, gas bottles and tyres. Electrical goods, mattresses and fridges/freezers are accepted. Plasterboard incurs an extra charge. Please tell us before booking so we can confirm the cost and handling requirements.

If you are unsure about a particular item, mention it when you enquire and we will suggest the right way to deal with it. For waste that is not suited to a skip, our waste collection service may be a better option.
