DR WASTE NORTH WEST
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 September 2026
These terms explain the website and service terms that apply to DR Waste North West Ltd.
1. About these terms and the business
These terms explain the basis on which DR Waste North West Ltd provides website information, quotations and waste services. Operating site and business contact address: Ashfield Road, Burnley, BB11 1BS. Contact: drwastenorthwestltd@yahoo.com or 07944 072282. Any service-specific terms agreed in writing also apply.
2. Website use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or introduce harmful material.
3. Information, availability and quotations
Website information is general and may change. Services are subject to availability and a site, access or waste assessment where needed. A quotation is based on the information you provide and may change if the waste, quantity, access, location or other relevant circumstances differ.
4. When a booking or service agreement is formed
Sending an enquiry or quote request does not create a booking. A service agreement is formed only when DR Waste North West Ltd confirms the booking and the agreed service, price and relevant arrangements.
5. Prices and payment
Prices and any applicable charges will be confirmed before the service agreement is formed. Payment methods, payment timing and any deposit required will be confirmed with you when you book. Additional work or costs caused by inaccurate information or changed circumstances will be discussed where reasonably possible before they are incurred.
6. Customer information and access responsibilities
You must provide accurate information about the waste, quantity, property, access, parking and hazards. You must ensure safe and lawful access at the agreed time, obtain any permissions within your control and tell us promptly about relevant changes.
7. Waste descriptions and restricted materials
You must accurately describe the waste and must not include hazardous, prohibited or regulated materials unless DR Waste North West Ltd has expressly agreed in writing that it can lawfully accept them. Examples may include asbestos, chemicals, medical waste, pressurised containers and other hazardous materials. Ask before booking if you are unsure.
8. Skip placement, access and highway permits
Customers must confirm placement requirements and any permit arrangements with DR Waste North West before delivery. A skip must not be placed on a public highway without any permission required by the relevant authority. You are responsible for providing accurate access and placement information and following reasonable safety instructions.
9. Hire periods and collection arrangements
The hire price includes up to 14 days. Additional hire is charged at £5 per extra day. Collection arrangements remain subject to availability, so contact us if you need the skip collected earlier or wish to extend the hire period.
10. Changes, cancellation and rescheduling
Tell us as soon as possible if you need to change, cancel or reschedule a booking. Any notice needed, and any charges or refunds that apply, will be confirmed with you when you book and before any charge is made. Your statutory rights are not affected.
11. Damage, safety and overloading
Waste must be loaded safely and must not exceed the permitted fill level or weight. You must not move or alter hired equipment without permission. You may be responsible for reasonable costs arising from prohibited waste, overloading, unsafe use, failed access or damage caused by your actions or omissions.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those protections and your statutory consumer rights, each party is responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of its breach or negligence.
13. Intellectual property
The website and its original content, branding and design are owned by or licensed to DR Waste North West Ltd. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, but may not reproduce or exploit them without permission.
14. Third-party links
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. DR Waste North West Ltd does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
15. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and contact you where practical.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts applicable under consumer law. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under law.
