Home clear-outs
Lofts, garages, spare rooms and bagged household waste after a tidy-up. A 2 yard mini skip or a 4 yard midi skip is usually plenty, and a mini skip is often the easiest fit on a terraced street or small drive.
Local skips for clear-outs, gardens and building work, delivered and collected across Burnley and surrounding areas. Choose a 2, 4, 6 or 8 yard skip with clear, all-in prices from £150.

A skip for every job. Sizes from 2 to 8 yards.
Most skip hire in Burnley falls into one of three jobs. Here's what our customers usually choose.

Lofts, garages, spare rooms and bagged household waste after a tidy-up. A 2 yard mini skip or a 4 yard midi skip is usually plenty, and a mini skip is often the easiest fit on a terraced street or small drive.

Hedge cuttings, old sheds, fence panels and decking. Garden waste is bulky rather than heavy, so a 6 yard builder's skip often suits bigger gardens.

Kitchen and bathroom rip-outs, plaster, timber and general building waste. Builders skips in Burnley are our 6 and 8 yard sizes. If the job is mostly soil or hardcore, go for a 2 or 4 yard skip, as the larger skips take a maximum of 1 tonne.
Looking for cheap skips in Burnley without hidden extras? Our prices are the total you pay for the skip. They include delivery, collection and disposal of your waste by a licensed carrier, plus 7 days' hire.

Not included: a council road permit, £42 extra, only if the skip has to stand on the road.
Quick Fill is a 30 minute option. The driver waits while you load, then takes the skip away straight after. Ideal when the rubbish is already piled up.
Standard Drop-Off means we leave the skip with you to fill at your own pace during the hire period.

If the skip can go on your own driveway or private land you have permission to use, you won't normally need a permit.
Plenty of Burnley homes don't have a drive, though, and if the skip has to go on the road, pavement or grass verge, you will need one. In Burnley the highway authority is Lancashire County Council, not Burnley Borough Council. The county council issues skip licences under Part IX of the Highways Act 1980, and the application is made by the skip company rather than the householder. The council asks for two working days' notice and can refuse a licence where a skip would block visibility, sit on yellow lines, obstruct a bus lane or crossing, or cause a danger to road users. A skip placed on the road without a licence can face enforcement action.
You don't have to apply for anything yourself. If your skip needs to go on the road, we arrange the permit with Lancashire County Council for you. Just let us know when you book and allow two working days. The permit costs £42 on top of your skip price. You can read the council's rules on the Lancashire County Council skip permits page.
For any skip, please keep the area clear of parked cars so the lorry can get in, and fill the skip level with the top so it can be carried away safely.
Accepted: everyday household waste, garden waste, timber, furniture, renovation and building waste, and soil or hardcore (within the limits above). Unlike some skip firms, we also accept electrical goods, mattresses and fridges or freezers. Plasterboard is accepted for an extra charge.
Not accepted: asbestos, chemicals, paint, gas bottles and tyres.
If you're not sure about something, mention it when you enquire and we'll confirm the cost and how it needs to be handled before you book.
